Cancer Council NSW is an independent charity that works across every area of cancer – research, prevention, support and advocacy.
Project: Led the development and production of the Understanding Cancer series of more than 50 resources for people with cancer, their families and friends. The titles – available in print and online – cover specific types of cancer, treatments and emotional and practical issues. Oversaw the clinical review process; editing and design; and tracked the production and ongoing stock control of resources, including pamphlets. Managed the development of national editorial and design style guides as part of the National Publications Working Group.
Result: People impacted by cancer throughout Australia are able to source high quality and accessible information, with the reassurance the content is clinically reviewed a minimum of every two years.
